I’ve been here three times so far, and each time, the food exceeds my expectations. The owners, which are sisters, are super sweet and kind, and have done a fabulous job with running the place as well as making the delicious food and drinks. I’ve tried the chicken salad croissant (my go to) and I always give it a 9/10 due to the phenomenal taste of the chicken salad and how soft and crunchy the croissant is. The truffle Mac and cheese is also super good (9/10) with how the creaminess of the cheese pairs so well with the truffle oil added to the dish. None of the food is overwhelmingly heavy, so it’s perfect to enjoy as a side or as a main dish. This place is quite a drive from my work and from my house, but I come as often as I can to support this wonderful business. Highly recommend 10/10.

Mehak and her staff did an amazing job with the service and food. Quality of food was wonderful and my favourite starter was the beef sliders. When it comes to the beverages, the mango mock-tail is a must! The chicken panini was also an banger! Everything that comes out from the kitchen is fresh and ready for serving. I can’t wait to come back again! There is also large parking space in the back for parking.

I haven't written a review in some time, which is a reflection of my schedule rather than the booming halal restaurant scene in Calgary. Having said that, my visit yesterday, to the new-ish cute Zephyrshai meant I had to write one. I tried their brunch service so I can't speak to their regular menu. We tried, pretty much everything on the desi brunch menu. The halwa puri was unique. The halwa actually really tasted good, rather than just cloyingly sweet. The puris I suspect had atta ( wholewheat flour) mixed in with the maida ( flour) which meant that they had substance rather than just oil. The channas and the aloo were decent as well. The shami platter was also interesting. The paratha with it is probably the tastiest thing we ate. The shamis had good flavour, but are made through ground beef rather than pieces of beef which you can tell. The nihari (partially eaten) sauce is a little bit weak. Tasted better when we warmed up the leftovers. The keema naan, again lacked more of a punch with the flavour and not something I would order again. It was though nice to see more desi brunch options rather than JUST Halwa Puri. They also have a fusion brunch menu which I would love to try on my next visit. Please do go out and support them, on weekends for brunch but ALSO on weekdays. The seating is limited (20 total) with additional patio seating as well which you might not be able to try for much longer. Lastly, the thing that stood out most for us was the service. Every dish came out with all the compliments together, and the service was polite, prompt and friendly. Hope this continues......

Heard about this place and just had to try it!! The menu looks amazing and let me tell you, the food tastes amazing too! This place shares a lot with a couple other businesses...it may be hard to find at first, but just look for the burnt orange coloured building/house (next to Toto Pizza). Parking is out back but there's also plenty of parking on the street. Upon entry, you are greeted by friendly staff who seat you at one of their tables in their cozy dining room. Tables for small groups, big groups, it's really a nice set up. We tried several menu items and all of them I'd have again! Fish pakora was not fishy and was nice and flaky, pieces of fish, not mushed up fish pakora like I've had at other places. Beef sliders were sooo tasty! They tasted like delicious chapli kabob. The tomato soup and grilled cheese was delish and oh so filling! The tomato soup was delicious, deep flavour and very filling. I think it may have had bell peppers in the base--spicy and yum...what one needs on a rainy day! We tried teas from their tea menu...a very generous serving of full flavoured tea. Raspberry Lemonade and Moroccan Mint were so tasty and we enjoyed it throughout our meal. I hear they'll be adding to their already generous menu, in addition to having shisha available for folks who choose. Seating extends onto the covered porch, which would be great to enjoy on a nice, warm summers day! You shouldn't miss this place...it's a definite MUST and fab addition to Calgary's culinary scene. Customer service is top notch here. Honestly, down to earth people who are just genuinely happy to see you! Did I mention...Halwa Puri breakfast starts from 10am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday...I can't wait to try their chai and Halwa Puri really soon! One thing I'd like to convey is, this restaurant is very clean, which is always a great sign, they really do take pride in their space and want to ensure it's pleasant for you. EDIT: Thank you for taking my constructive feedback and suggestion re: floor cleaner. I came back the next day and tried their halwa puri and chai for breakfast! This traditional meal comes with a serving of sweet halwa, potatoes (aloo), chick pea (choley) and achaar (pickled veggies). It is also served with three Puri's. I was very impressed with the puri, as it was not oily. They are smaller than some other places but since you get three, it's sufficient to finish your food with and fill you up! The potatoes were some of the best I've had, but personally I'd enjoy it with a little less salt. Chickpeas were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Halwa was tasty, no added colouring, and a little on the sweet side. This was okay for me, as I enjoyed their cooked milk tea, which balanced out the sweetness. The achaar was super tasty, definitely a must with your food! I was also happy that they were able to accomodate our dietary restriction (as you can see in the photo...no chickpeas for one). Definitely a must try! I look forward to coming back to try more menu items! Thank you

Folks, I don't usually write on here but Zephyrshai deserves recognition. This place is such a hidden gem in Calgary and needs to be tried! It's the perfect fusion of Desi and Continental. We came here on a friend's suggestion and weren't disappointed at all. We tried their Nihari which is probably one of the best and you don't regret it later in the day. Haha We also tried their Halwa Puri and since wifey was missing Shami Kabab made back home, we got the Shami Kabab platter. Every dish was legit delish and their naans/parathas (whatever you describe it as) were huge! And their prices and ambiance are on point! They also have a patio for warmer days. Attaching photos of our experience and their menu. And no, we weren't offered money or free food to review the place. We're doing it out of the goodness of our heart and stomachs!

I love this family-run spot! They serve up delicious but simple food, which is right up my alley. We tried their breakfast menu, and it was really good. Nothing too fancy, but super tasty, and the prices were totally reasonable. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!

Amazing food with amazing service. Would definitely recommend the chipotle chicken panini and honey garlic wings. The beef sliders is a fusion with spices. Not your typical American style beef sliders. Definitely has a kick to it! The spicy hot wings definitely lives up to its name. A must try place and would definitely be coming back.

Will start talking about the location which is excellent and the size of this restaurant is really small with a capacity of only 16. When you enter the restaurant you find it really impressive with a simple decoration. Had buffet for ifthar dry items were good, main dish can be improvised on taste. Rest everything was up to the mark.
